Gently swaying Sweetgrass can be found growing wild across North America -- in wet meadows, prairies and forest openings, along lake shores, the edges of sloughs and marshes, and cool mountain canyons.
This special Sweetgrass is intentionally harvested in eastern Washington to create a hydrosol that invites presence, calmness, and healing to the skin and spirit. This living water infused with the scents of vanilla, honey and sweet hay hydrates, balances pH, and calms delicate & sensitive skin of all ages.
Our Sweetgrass Hydrosol is intended for use as a hydrating facial mist or a personal space purifier, and we offer our utmost respect and gratitude for this sacred plant.
Energetically, Sweetgrass Hydrosol offers protection and grounding support and with the gentle scent, comes kindness and warmth reminding people of the importance of good thoughts, words, and actions. Sweetgrass is a sacred plant to many North American Indigenous peoples, where for generations has been harvested and used in ceremony to purify the space & people, and to carry prayers upon the smoke of dried and braided sweetgrass to the Great Spirit.
This teaching reminds us that Sweetgrass should be handled with gentleness and care. When harvesting Sweetgrass, it is important to be gentle and mindful, taking only what is needed.

how I use this in my daily ritual:
after cleansing, I mist generously over my face, neck, and décolleté. This pure, living, cellular plant water hydrates delicate facial skin, brings the natural pH into balance and allows for greater absorption of moisturizers. Sweetgrass is dear to my heart, and I feel glad to be using this mist. It's grounding sweet scent connects me to the earth and to all of life, and thus I'm grateful to be here and give thanks to this plant ally.
